Intel hopes to increase the number of cores and workloads for future generations of processors according to some of the distant leaks.
Next year, some Chinese and Taiwanian information sources prepared by motherboard maker HKEPC say that Intel will introduce next-generation Core i7 processors 9, i5 and i3 processors to work (virtual cores) and increase the numbers.
The existing Intel Coffee Lake processor Core i7 series is 8 cores, 6 cores and 12 cores, 6 cores i5 series and 6 cores of workpiece i3 series and 8 cores. Intel was not expected to increase the number of cores in the 9th generation of processors.
However, according to the information, the new Intel 9th generation processors are getting 8 cores and 16 processors in the i7-9700K. Processors i5 and i3 increase the number of workpieces. i5 processors will have 6 cores and 12 threads, i3 processors will have 4 cores and 12 threads.
It is curious how Intel's ninth-generation processors will perform against AMD Ryzen 2 or Pinnacle Ridge processors. Although Intel has responded well to Coffee Lake processors and Ryzen processors, AMD is expected to offer high performance processors next year.
