Japanese will build an elevator up to the sky!

Japanese company Obayashi announced that by 2050 it will be a space elevator project.
The construction facility will do port work to lift astronauts from Earth's atmosphere and the lift will move at 96,000 km / h. Although the current technical level is not sufficient to realize the project, the company's plan is real and is a major step towards the construction of the space elevator. After 1 year, the device becomes portable.

Plans to build a 100-ton load-capacity space elevator by 2050. The elevator has 96,000 km of carbon nanotube cable, 400 m in diameter on the world connection side and 12,500 tons of counterweight. Construction process including cabling and installation of facilities; Counterweight starts after you have analyzed the installation and construction procedures and cable dynamics. The equation calculated using motion equations will take about 20 years to form a cable with the required tensile strength of 150 Giga Pascals.

The flexibility of the cable is adjusted taking into account such parameters as climber, counterweight, cable, wind and installation load. Trying to move from the center of a rotating platform to the opposite side can not create too much negativity on the Coriolis force system, which directs them in a steep angle. In the event of a cable break of 96,000 km and an axial drop, the world can be played at least eight times in orbit, but it seems to be stacking as often as possible. The project, which will last until 2050, will be parallel to the realization of the technology and we have to wait and see.
